Properly winterizing your hose bibs and sprinkler system can prevent costly repairs and damage. In this video, I bring you along as I start preparing for winter by winterizing my sprinkler / irrigation system and exterior hose bibs. We'll start by emptying the water from all of my exterior hose bibs, then I'll demonstrate how I use the Ranchio app to purge the air from all of my sprinkler zones using quick runs. Even though I have frost free / freeze proof spigots, I still like to completely drain all of the water from the lines as a preventative measure.
