ARC-XR is one of the largest XR studios in the UK, offering state-of-the-art resources and studio space for immersive technology, including Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR).

The ARC-XR team are committed to providing support for researchers embarking on XR projects. The XR team’s comprehensive services range from consultancy and project planning to equipment recommendation, setup assistance, and participant onboarding. With a diverse array of cutting-edge equipment, including VR headsets like Quests 2 and VIVE Focus 3, mixed reality headsets such as Varjo XR-3, and augmented reality devices like Microsoft Hololens 2, researchers have access to the tools they need to realise their vision.

The extensive software suite, featuring ArborXR, Unity, Edify, Wirecast Pro, and molecular visualisation software among others, empowers researchers to develop immersive experiences tailored to their specific objectives.
