Description
The 2023 Summer IDN “ChatGPT and Generative AI in Education Jamboree” was a great success with 3 webinars and 2 lightning round sessions offered from May through July. Many community members shared with us in the webinar surveys that they learned so much in these webinars on innovative applications and effective practices of ChatGPT and generative AI in educational settings. Members also expressed their desire to continuously explore, learn, and share in this topic area. In response to this need, our available guest speakers will join us again to offer a capstone panel discussion session for the series. This session will serve as an opportunity for post-Jamboree reflections, deep dives into some specific elements covered in the webinar series, new strategies, as well as answering additional questions the IDN community may have regarding this topic.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of this webinar, attendees will be able to:
- Describe at least one advantage and one potential risk of applying ChatGPT and generative AI in teaching and learning;
- Describe at least one use case of applying ChatGPT and generative AI in teaching and learning;
- Identify at least one strategy of applying (or helping faculty to apply) ChatGPT and generative AI in classrooms.
