Planned to promote the albums “Triumph” by the group The Jackson and “Off The Wall”, by Michael Jackson, the Triumph Tour toured the United States in 39 performances and raised at the time of 5 million dollars, in current dollars, about US$ 15 millions.

The tour lasted about three months, started in Memphis, and ended in Los Angeles, with four sold-out shows. At the end of the tour, the album "The Jacksons Live!" — the double live album was made with recordings made in August 1981 in the cities of Buffalo, NY; Providence, RI; Atlanta, GA; and New York City, NY. The show contains songs from the Triumph album, two songs from Destiny, a medley of Motown hits, and five songs from Michael Jackson's solo album Off the Wall.

He was one of the most important and influential cultural icons of all time and one of the greatest artists in the history of music. His contributions to music, dance and fashion, along with the promotion of his personal life, have made him a global figure in popular culture for more than four decades.

All these experiences, studies and experiences are now used by Rodrigo within his own authorial career. With his own compositions, his sound brings a pop influenced by American R&B without losing its Brazilianness.
