Developments in technology and knowledge regarding sport science and aerodynamics mean that cycling is constantly looking for ways to improve performance. However, sometimes the UCI needs to step in to make sure such advancements aren't giving some riders an unfair advantage.

While we agree with most things on this list, we will miss the days of Spinergys and Spinacis. And we may be a little cheeky and don some mittens at our local velodrome...
