Protection Modes keep you in control of your homes water.
Real-time alerts allow you to remotely turn off the water from the Moen Smart Water App, or the device will automatically close the valve to help prevent catastrophic damage.

When you know you will be using an irregular amount of water, you can adjust it to Sleep Mode. If you are going out of town and want the device to shut off the water immediately when an event occurs, adjust it to Away Mode.
