In this video you can enjoy the cab ride - train driver's view from Tarragona to Tortosa in 4K/60 frames per second. The Tarragona-Tortosa/Ulldecona line is a Catalan railway line owned by Administrador d'Infraestructures Ferroviàries (Adif) that connects Tarragona with Tortosa and Ulldecona, running from the coast to the Tortosa junction. The line starts in Tarragona at the junction of the Tarragona-Reus-Lleida line and ends at the Ulldecona station in the direction of Valencia, and since the Ebro bypass was built, it also ends in Tortosa as a branch of the line.

The line is a wide-gauge (1,668 mm (5 ft 5+21⁄32 in) Iberian gauge), double-track line.

The line is part of the Mediterranean Corridor, which is why it was adapted to reach speeds of up to 220 km/h and an average of 180 km/h to allow the circulation of the Euromed, which is why the Ebro bypass was built to link Aldea - Amposta with Ulldecona-Alcanar without passing through Tortosa. From then on, the section of the line that goes up to Tortosa is a cul-de-sac with two stations, Tortosa and Camp-redó. This line runs through Tortosa.

On this line runs the regional line R16 between Barcelona and Tortosa and the medium-distance line to Valencia on Renfe Operadora, as well as long-distance services such as Euromed and Intercity. On the secondary line between Tarragona and Port Aventura there are trains on the RT2 line and regional trains on the R17 line.
