I take inspiration from Andy Kirby and try to build a 36v eBike battery using 3 12v power tool batteries from Lidl. The purpose is to make maintenance and charging processes easier than my DIY 24v battery

I cover why the fully charged battery only produced a disappointing 36.8v instead of the expected higher voltage and what to look out for when purchasing supposedly 12v/24v/36v Lithium Ion batteries

Enjoy!

Andy Kirby was kind enough to allow me to use a clip from one of his videos and so here are the links to his channel (It's a really good channel - the bugger has a Twizy!)
