Mount Hotham is a mountain in the Victorian Alps of the Great Dividing Range, located in the Australian state of Victoria. The mountain is located approximately 357 kilometres (222 mi) north east of Melbourne about a 4 and a half hours journey and 746 kilometres (464 mi) from Sydney around a 8hrs drive and 997 kilometres (620 mi) from Adelaide by road. The nearest major road to mountain is the Great Alpine Road. The mountain is named after Charles Hotham, Governor of Victoria from 1854 to 1855.
Mt Hotham's summit rises to an altitude of 1,862 metres (6,109 ft)

So we have reached our hotel here in Harrietville. The property is tastefully decorated and everybody is enjoying in there own way. The kids also planned to surprise us by preparing chocolate brownies. Enjoy the complete video of chocolate Brownie by clicking on the top right hand corner. And now a special dance performance. With all the fun the night simply slipped away cherishing some fond memories.

Built on a spectacular mountain ridge, majestic views, terrain to suit all abilities, along with a host of activities to keep you entertained, both on the slopes and off. You can Hit the snow on skis, snowboards and toboggans. My kids had loads of fun on the toboggans. We also did build a small snowman but somehow forgot to capture it.

There are also lots of possibilities for night skiing . And if u r a first timer and want to try out skiing you can get a quick lesson too.

All vehicles stopping in a Victorian Alpine Resort must have a valid authorised Resort Entry Permit.  If you travel directly through the resort from Dinner Plain or Omeo to Harrietville and vice versa and do not stop, you will not require a resort entry permit.  Your resort exit point must differ from your resort entry point.  If you are dropping off family or friends within the resort you are still required to purchase a resort entry permit as all vehicles stopping within the resort boundaries must have a valid permit.

Initially we wearing heading directly to diners plain but because of the bad weather we had to change our plan and parked our at the resort. From there we took the free bus which took us to dinners plain.

With all the snow fun our day 2 came to an end. We are in Day 3 the last day of fun together . The kids have started there morning with trampoline jumps and what a beautiful sunny weather it is. So before heading back home we stopped at historic Bright, a picturesque village in Victoria's High Country. Surrounded by mountains and located on the Ovens river and of course the beautiful playgrounds from where kids never wanted to stop n return home.

So we had a sumptuous lunch here at Bright. The food was really delicious and I would give a 5 star rating for both the food and ambience. And I would suggest you’ll to try out there Bright brewery hero board from the menu. So that was the last leg of our journey and we r heading back home now.
