🇻🇪 ROASTERS 'N TOASTERS:   / roasterdeli

Sometimes, the best thing to have in the morning is a good, old-fashioned American breakfast. So I met up with my good friend Nina Unrated to have a 9am American breakfast in my hometown of Miami!

We’d be eating at Roasters ’N Toasters, a classic spot in Miami that’s been there since 1984. Inside, we met the manager, Dave, and headed into the kitchen.

It’s a New York-style deli, so of course, they make roast beef sandwiches, matzoh ball soup, chicken soup, and more. I also watched them make some scrambled eggs, blueberry pancakes, bacon, chocolate chip pancakes, Nutella French toast, poached eggs, eggs Benedict, and more!

Everything looked so epic! Next, they made some scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon for the bacon and egg sandwich. They also grilled some egg blintzes and made some cheese grits and a smoked salmon sandwich.

At our table, we had 9 dishes in total! The bacon and egg sandwich was nice and fluffy, and the bacon was nice and crispy. Next, we hopped onto the eggs Benedict with an English muffin, ham, and hash browns. It came topped with Hollandaise sauce and paprika.

Eggs Benedict is my favorite breakfast dish of all time! I also loved the charred and crispy potatoes, which were still fluffy and moist on the inside.

Next were the cheese grits, which were creamy, cheesy, and perfect. Then, we jumped on the smoked salmon on a bagel with cream cheese and capers. The bagel was nice and fluffy with sesame seeds, and the salmon was excellent!

The matzoh ball soup was fantastic, and the ball soaked up the delicious broth. It’s like a big dumpling! Meanwhile, the corned beef sandwich was thinly-sliced and salty. I loved it with the mustard!

Our next dishes was the Nutella French toast, which contained Nutella on top and inside. It was sweet and carb-heavy, and perfect for kids!

The turkey sausage links with syrup were nice and meaty and contained some nice spices, too. The cheese blintzes with blueberry syrup were fluffy on the inside, toasted on the outside, and unreal. They were a cheese overload!

The chocolate chip pancakes were fluffy, delicious buttermilk pancakes. They weren’t too sweet and had a perfect amount of chocolate chips. It was the perfect way to end our meal!
