The GR Supra is a terrific sports car, aimed at rivals such as the latest Nissan Z and even Porsche's Cayman. This, of course, is the best BMW sports car that Toyota has ever sold.
Yes, the Supra is a BMW Z4 is Toyota guise. The powertrain, chassis and even the cabin are almost entirely BMW, though Toyota says the styling and tuning are Toyota's.
This is a racy car aimed squarely at drivers. Pricing is not over-the-top, with my tester coming in at less than $73,000. The base price of a rival Porsche Cayman is about $82,000.
As fast cars go, the GR Supra is superb.
