Tangerine Dream made a visit to San Diego! The tour included a lineup of Thorsten Quaeschning, Hoshiko Yamane and Paul Frick. How impressive their sound continues to be. A group that was founded in the late 60's and continues to produce such amazing synthesized music! I may be wrong, but I believe this may have been their first visit to San Diego! They have definitely performed for southern California in Los Angeles, but not San Diego! I hope for their return, for they are the premier sound for new age synthesized music! Who has ever seen a single finale that was 55 minutes in length? Amazing...

Except there is a but here! But, to truly enjoy this, one has to see and hear their compositions in a theater with supporting acoustics! That was the case for us at the El Cajon Magnolia theater! GREAT acoustics! But, a recording does not truly do the justice which it truly deserves...
