Monumental Sports and Entertainment CEO Ted Leonsis and Mayor Muriel Bowser signed an agreement to keep the Washington Wizards and Capitals in D.C.

The agreement entails D.C. spending $515 million tax dollars on renovations at Capital One Arena and keeping both teams playing games at the arena until 2050.

Monumental Sports choosing to keep the Washington Wizards and Capitals in D.C. is a monumental let down for Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin.
