The cast of Final Fantasy 7 has so much depth of character and Tifa Lockhart conveys this notion well by displaying varying emotions throughout the experience.

On the surface, Tifa is positioned as a strong-will individual who solves her problems with her fists, but deep down she has a lot of emotional insecurities. This is evident throughout Final Fantasy VII, as she often chooses to stay silent despite wanting to do the opposite and it means her relationship with Cloud becomes... complicated.

Even as her character was built-out in Advent Children, many of these elements remained and it's what makes Tifa such a fantastic character to study, as there's so much depth! It's going to be so fascinating in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake to see how all of this is tackled.
