THIS BARBER IS ALSO A MASSAGE THERAPIST!

My master barber today is Abdul Rakman in Glodok. Glodok is a very busy area in central Jakarta, also known as Chinatown.

I found Abdul through my local friend friend Alex, who took me to Turbat's Pangkas Rambut barbershop (Thank you bro!). This little barbershop is open to the street, and very noisy at night. I love it. At about 730pm, I waited my turn, for about 3 customers. I'm sure glad I did, since he turned out to also be a massage therapist.

My barber proceeded to give me a full face shave, then he spend the rest of the time doing massage therapy on me. That was a very welcome surprise!

In this video you will see that my arms and body is very bruised. It is due to some skin scraping massage therapy that I was going through, similar to in this video here:
