A few years ago, I embarked on a DIY journey installing my own underground irrigation system at home. It's been incredibly successful with 11 zones covering my yard, but with some recent additions to the yard, it's time for an expansion.

In this video, I'll walk you through the entire process of adding new zones to your sprinkler system. We start from the basics, discussing what you'll need: a water supply, electrical connectivity, and a controller that can handle additional zones.

We dive into the nitty-gritty, from tracing wires and assembling a PVC manifold, to installing valves and connecting the system to the main water line. We cover the installation of drip irrigation for young plants and the positioning of sprinklers around the yard.

The project also includes extending water access to my Pavilion Smokehouse and setting up a sprinkler system for a mulch bed and a plant growing area behind the smokehouse.
