Our Frigidaire Gallery Microwave FGMV176NTF blew the fuse... it was dead! I replaced the fuse and it's working again. I explain how to avoid blowing a fuse, what likely caused it, and how I replaced it. The fuse can be an indication that there are other issues with the microwave so changing the fuse is not always the ultimate solution; however, in our case, the fuse would always blow when my other half would be heating something and forget to press STOP before pulling the door open. The manufacturer recommends that when the microwave is running, you press STOP before opening the door to prevent possible exposure to electromagnetic radiation (microwaves)... so for your protection it could blow a fuse. It could also just be a faulty switch, which goes beyond the scope of this video as it is more involved.
The fuse part number I used is 5304509451 (20A 125V). I previously ordered an OEM fuse from Frigidaire (that one lasted a year and blew too when my other half pulled....well, you know!), which was significantly overpriced, so I purchased an identical model from Amazon. A 5 pack from Amazon costed the same as what I paid Frigidaire for one.
