Wednesday looks to be much of the same as the last couple of days, as scattered thunderstorms are expected to impact several regions while record-breaking heat continues to scorch the Southwest.  The Mid-Atlantic should expect some scattered showers early in the morning Wednesday and then again sometime in the afternoon, as storms bubble up from daytime heating. Though, this afternoon activity should be contained close to the coastline, as interior parts of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast experience drier and slightly cooler weather. High temperatures are expected to be in the upper 80s to low 90s in the Mid-Atlantic, while much of the Northeast can expect highs in the 80s.  Down into the Southeast, overnight showers are expected to linger into Wednesday morning for areas in the Southern Appalachians. Afternoon thunderstorms are expected to pop-up in the coastal lowlands of the Carolinas and Georgia, as well as central and south Florida. High temperatures will reach into the 90s across much of the Southeast, with a few areas potentially hitting 100 degrees by afternoon.  https://www.facebook.com/reel/9619415...
