I wanted to add some parallax visualizations to my videos. I noticed that the regular slider did give videos some more interesting shots, but in the end the object being filmed fell out of frame, or it looked as if though it just moved across the screen. I have seen some of the parallax sliders go for upwards of three hundred clams. This price range was out of my reach, so I studied how they worked and decided to give it a go on my own.
The way I did it is kinda simple once you see how it works. The Control arm that rotates the camera slides on a bar. This bar is NOT parallel to the slider. Since the distance between the axis of the camera rotation and slider bar changes. This will allow the arm to rotate the camera as the camera goes down the Slider.
