Anatomy of a Fall (Anatomie d'une chute), winner of Best Screenplay at the 2024 Oscars, is one of those films that really stay with you and give you a LOT of food for thought. Here I analyse various themes: the use of the piano pieces, the omnipresence of doubles and echos, and the beautifully ambiguous relationship between Vincent and Sandra... and eventually, why I feel that all these elements combine to give the subtle feeling of a ghost story.
This is my third attempt at posting this video, so my Oscar predictions at the end are now completely outdated!
