👋 After 5 years owning my 2014 R35 Nissan GT-R, what do I think of it? How much has it cost to keep on the road and what is maintaining an R35 Nissan GTR like? To be honest the Nissan GTR has been the single best thing I have ever bought and it has been more fun then anything! I have had an absolute blast owing this car and it has opened so many doors in my life to other adventures! I used this car as a daily driver, I've been on the drag strip with it, the race track, countless mountain road trips and just so many fun drives! I even drove this 1,600 miles in a week to get married and this car was apart of our wedding. Owning the GTR has been very easy too. Very inexpensive to maintain and keep on the road. Insurance isn't expensive, about $800 a year right now with 3 vehicles on my policy. Full coverage isn't expensive if you pay in full and take the highest deductible. I've had a blast modifying the GTR to make 700 HP with a full bolt on a flex fuel setup. The car is fast as can be and I've been enjoying the car so much the last 2 years since I finished the upgrades. Future plans however do include selling the GTR. This car has done everything I ever could have asked it to do and I've make amazing memories with it. However I was to check off my next dream car and turn a Lamborghini into a reality. Took 10 years of dreaming and working towards the R35 GTR to become a reality, but I've also been dreaming and working towards a Lamborghini Gallardo for 18 years at this point. So I want to move on to my next goal! Work hard towards your goals and make you life happen! DOn't ever listen to anyone who says you can achieve your dreams. If you budget money well and live a simple life without all the little things, you can have the bigger things in life and truly enjoy things! Very excited for the future and all of this wouldn't have been possible if I never made my dreams comes true when I bought the GTR 5 years ago! Amazing car and it has been a great experience!
