Headed to Lake Powell in search of entrances to swim! After driving 5 miles off-road following mile markers stating Lake Powell is 2 miles away. I never found an entrance. I did see where the water once was…I gave up and headed towards the Colorado river.

Incredible views of Glen Canyon and the river basin below. We got some hiking in..hot at 4 PM start times. During the day the van exceeded 104°. Stopped to talk to a gentleman from the vicinity. He couldn’t stop talking about the rescinding water table .

Here I am ….Chasing cool weather and places to swim for the long haul.
