DECENTRALIZED gets its name from Blockchain, a newish technology that has completely altered the trajectory of humanity and likely something that will continue to develop rapidly.

The concept originally came about as I have been on a long journey exploring Cyberpunk themed movies and Anime while in lockdown. I became fascinated with the Aesthetic, the colour scheme and the mood. Though I would have loved to have had rain to complete the mood, I had to be respectful of everyone's time who was apart of this project, and work around when everyone was available.

About the creation of the choreography - that was all Josh and his crews genius. I basically sat down with Josh a couple of times at our local cafe and said "hey man, it would be dope to collab on a dance film but lets take this up a level and do something that hasn't been done before, a story driven piece in a Cyberpunk world, with a thematic influence from The Matrix" as ambitious as that sounded, he was down and the rest was history. I basically wrote the script on my notepad with the most basic shot list and he created the dance sequences around that.

For crew on shoots there was basically just myself and Franz, who was helping with lighting the scenes and my good friend Fili who assisted with set access and building them out. The fun part was really adapting as the situation changed constantly, with some key places affected by construction, security guards (considering we were shooting this past midnight most days) and random people lingering around.
