just a few questions to think about as we transition to remote everything: 1) How do we ensure that governments don’t purloin the internet of things aka #thethirdindustrialrevolution & use it to hack elections (this has already taken place unfortunately) 2)How do we ensure that the #internet companies such as #facebook #google #amazon #alibaba etc don’t monopolize this internet for commercial purposes (while either excluding or taking advantage of black folks that have historically “created cool” ), commodifying the lifetime value of all of our personal experiences and our #data , then sell them to any third party company, without giving black folks theit piece of the pie (especially if we drive culture). 3) Can we have some transparency as to whether algorithm governance is being used on a particular segment of our society to #guide their lives, & is this already taking place?
