How to replace a sink drain.

Replacing your sink drain is actually quite simple, you don't have to call a plumber. Bathroom sink drains often look worn out and can develop rust over time and can make your sink look dirty.

All you will need is a pair of plumber's pliers and a container to catch water.

You start by loosening the nuts to remove the previous drain pipe. Once the old drain is completely removed, you can slide your new drain through the top and connect it to your u-pipe.

In this video I needed to grab an extender because my drain was not long enough. If your new drain is not the correct size for your pipe, you can acquire the right adapter to install.
