Since we have updated the Mavic Mini Firmware a Range Problem pop up losing signal around 150 meters on top of that we have a drone flyaway is not acceptable and almost made me lose the drone to the Forrest packed with a meter of snow was no joke but with the help of DJI fly app Find my Drone we recovered it but this adventure really pushes me to troubleshoot this range problem and look for a solution in the software where we found a option to change the remote controller channels from 2.4ghz to 5.8Ghz having the drone controlled with 5.8Ghz and the FPV video over 2.4Ghz wifi to have zero wifi interference from the DJI Mavic mini itself to give you the maximum range that is available

Another tip to prevent a DJI drone flyaway is to use the safety feature to kill the motors in the air to prevent the drone from flying away on its own and let it drop like a brick from the sky before it's fly's into the water or three
