*Verde River: Join us as we follow the gentle curves of Verde River, a picturesque journey made even more memorable with insights from our Arizona companions.

*Montezuma's Castle: In between our captivating campsites, we explored the historical marvel of Montezuma's Castle in Arizona. This ancient Native American cliff dwelling, nestled high above the ground, tells tales of a bygone era. Built by the Sinagua people over 600 years ago, the castle is a testament to ingenuity and architectural prowess.

*Tonopah: Venture with us into the desert expanse of Tonopah, where vast landscapes meet the untamed beauty of the desert. This was a unique chapter in our journey, offering a stark yet captivating contrast to the lush mountainous terrain.

Meet the Crew:
Our Southern California friends, Erick and Bev @WeKeepOutBurglars on Instagram, brought their A-game to the trip! Picture this: Erick's powerhouse Jeep on 40" tires, equipped with Dana70 axles and a robust diesel engine. But that's not all – trailing behind was their overlanding trailer, a true game-changer. From warm water to on-the-go showers, this setup added a touch of luxury to our off-road escapades.

Additionally, Josh & Mickey in their well-built Toyota Tacoma, showcasing the versatility and strength of this overlanding duo.

Shared Culinary Adventures:
But the adventure didn't stop with the trails! We shared the responsibility of cooking meals, turning our campsites into a culinary haven. From amazing prime-grade steaks sizzling on the Tembo Tusk Skottle to the heartwarming aromas of homemade chicken soup and lastly, Sopes, prepared with love on the same trusty skottle.
