The 2023 Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 Bison was a truck I knew I had to take off-roading. The biggest surprise was its on-road behavior. The suspension, wheel and tires, and chassis all worked well to make the Silverado be a beast with manners.

When we took it off road, that’s when things got fun. With this being the Bison, you get skid plates for the front and rear differentials, transfer case, and the fuel tank. The added protection will give you peace of mind that you’ll be able to safely go home after going off-roading.

Inside the Silverado ZR2 Bison, you’ll be in complete comfort with the heated and vented seats that are embroidered with the AEV logo. The surround HD camera system made it easy for us to fit this big truck in the smallest of spaces and make sure we can see when going up or down steep obstacles.

The big 6.2L V8 helped power through the obstacles at the off-road park. In the city, the V8 paired to the 10-speed auto offered an extremely responsive throttle.

Overall we were loving the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 Bison.
