http://www.tedxlausanne.org: C'est une conscience des inégalités sociales qui a poussé Sandrine Cina à entreprendre des études de science politique et relations internationales à Genève. Rapidement, elle choisit de focaliser son engagement sur les thématiques de l'orientation sexuelle et de l'identité de genre et met sur pied une organisation nationale pour les jeunes sur ces questions (http://www.lgbt-youth.ch). Au travers de sa campagne « j'InterAgis », elle a déjà réussi à toucher des milliers de personnes en Suisse.

« Qu'est-ce qu'un homme ? Qu'est-ce qu'une femme ? » Lorsque nous tentons de répondre à ces questions, nous avons tous à l'esprit des images préconçues, qui font généralement écho aux modèles les mieux acceptés socialement. Ces stéréotypes influencent la façon dont nous nous percevons nous-mêmes, ainsi que la façon dont nous percevons les autres et interagissons avec eux. Pour certains, cela peut avoir des conséquences dramatiques. Sandrine parlera de ces enjeux, en se focalisant sur les stéréotypes liés à l'homosexualité et montrera comment chacun peut participer activement à une meilleure intégration de toutes et tous.

http://www.tedxlausanne.org: It was a consciousness of social inequality that led Sandrine Cina to undertake studies in political science and international relations in Geneva. Quickly, she chose to focus her engagement on the issues of sexual orientation and gender identity and established a national organization for young LGBTs (http://www.lgbt-youth.ch). After graduating with a Master's in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, she started to work full-time for LGBT Youth Switzerland. Through its "I interact" campaign, she has already managed to reach thousands of people in Switzerland.

"What is a man? What is a woman? "When we try to answer these questions, we all see preconceived images, which generally mirror the socially accepted models. These stereotypes influence the way we perceive ourselves and how we perceive others and interact with them. For some, it can have dramatic consequences. In her talk, Sandrine discusses these issues, focusing on stereotypes of homosexuality and shows how each can contribute actively to a better integration of all.
