Mormon Rocks is a sandstone outcropping named after Mormon travelers that camped in the area in 1851. It's located just a mile or so from the San Andreas Fault Running through the Cajon Pass. There is an interpretive hiking trail that can get you some great views from, and of, the rocks. I wouldn't visit in the summer time, due to the heat, but it's a scenic spot for the other 3 seasons of the year.
