So, as I'm posting this it looks like the Astros have deemed that I spoke too soon about the Phillies winning the World Series....

Is Christopher Bell the favorite going into the championship race of the 2022 NASCAR playoffs at Phoenix this weekend? I would argue that the answer is yes. While Joey Logano and Chase Elliott may be past champions themselves, their playoff performances have just been too inconsistent for me to consider either of them favorites. Ross Chastain may be Bell's best competition this weekend after stealing the show on the last lap of Bell's win at Martinsville, but Bell is the one with the most momentum right now, coming off of two victories in must win situations. Bell seems to have gotten hot at the right time and I think 2022 is going to be his year to lift the championship trophy.
