Hurricane Laura is now intensifying over the central Gulf of Mexico and will be relatively unimpeded in its intensification for the next 24-30 hours. It is forecast to intensify and the National Hurricane Center currently progs Laura to make landfall somewhere along the coastal border of Texas and Louisiana as a Category 3 hurricane on very early Thursday morning.
