We waited 15 years for Nissan to introduce a totally new Nissan Frontier. Was it worth the wait? Today, I review a new 2022 Nissan Frontier and go over the exterior styling, the interior features, and the overall drive of this truck. At the end, I will give you my thoughts on wether or not you should buy a 2022 Nissan Frontier.

The 2022 Nissan Frontier is powered by a 3.8 Liter V6 that produces 310 horsepower, making it the most powerful engine in base form of any of its competitors (Ford Ranger, Toyota Tacoma, and the Chevy Colorado. Power is lightly noticeable, and hardly considered smooth, which is actually a selling point for many buyers in this category.

Design is 100% new. Even the design language is refreshed entirely from Nissans own brand. Does it work? Well, a successful design should not only be fresh to the eye, but hold some level of longevity, which sadly I do not believe the Frontiers design will. It looks fresh now, but considering the 15 year wait that Nissan issued for a new model, I do not see this design being relevant within the next 12 months.

Interior features are lagging behind a few of its competitors, however for the base MSRP of $28,000, this may actually be the best truck to buy in base form (accounting for the most powerful engine being offered).

Watch the full video and leave me a comment with your thoughts on this truck. Is it the best or worst mid size pickup to buy in 2022?
