Majestic sea creatures that gracefully move about. Their wingspan is amazing - reaching 23'! They glide around peacefully and hold an incredible intelligence.

Anyone interested, there are several fantastic dive operations that work for the preservation and share understanding of these amazing sea creatures with divers and snorkelers!
I had the opportunity to go on several dives with: both Manta Ray Dives of Hawaii and Jack's Diving Locker. Both are great outfits from boat captains, clean vessels, to great guides and admin staff!

For the Manta Ray Dive, timing worked best for us to join Manta Ray Dives of Hawaii and they lived up to their reputation! Keni and crew shared the history, their endangered status, frequent dive operations to aid the manta rays, foundations to support, etc. Was an informative conversation on the boat.

While on site with the manta rays, within the video is a shelled creature who raised the large conc like shell and dropped it over a sea urchin! A one in ... who knows how many - rare chance to watch it occur and have my video rolling.

An eel of good size showed and lurched out to catch a fish as well!

All around great time! Much learned about manta rays and value gained from a remarkable dive trip.

Side note: My brother came along and did the snorkel side of our night manta ray dive and he said it was phenominal! They actually rolled around and skimmed along his chest while he and a few others held onto a floating snorkel unit.

I can go on and on - though I doubt you're reading much of this and more interested watching the video - as likely would I. Haha! If you have an opportunity, snorkel or dive - the whole family has an opportunity to learn just a bit more about these amazing and intellignt sea creatures, up close and personal!
