Most grapples attached to your tractor’s loader require either a third function hydraulic or electric valve, which allows the top jaw of the grapple to open and close. Today we'll compare a Hydralic Grapple and a Mechanical Westendorf 4215 Brush Crusher Grapple. The Westendorf mechanical grapple uses the force of gravity, along with the loader’s existing bucket cylinders to open, close, and grab debris. We'll also demonstrate substituting tractor forks instead of a grapple.
