Springtime is here! Which is the perfect season for tackling the smaller tasks I couldn't get to until now. Like reinforcing the loft with heavy bolts, lifting the 500lb cutting head back onto the sawmill, or installing lath between the courses on the log cabin. The lath will be the framework that I apply the daub and chinking to, which is the secret to its longevity.
