It's a thankless job. Scouring the streets for recyclable material which is then sold to eke out a living. For some unemployed South Africans, this is the only option to keep body and soul together. Here is 36-year-old Ivory Park resident Lucas Chauke who detailed his plight to Elections 360 producer Maageketla Mohlabe. This is ahead of tonight's debate on unemployment and poverty which is going to be broadcast live in the North West from 7pm on the SABC News Channel and SABC 2.
