Big, expensive luxury SUVs are a Mercedes speciality – just look at the vast G-Class and the GLS models for proof. So, it seems only natural that Mercedes is launching its own flagship zero-emissions SUV – aptly named the EQS SUV – that’ll take on the BMW iX, Tesla Model X, Lotus Eletre and forthcoming Range Rover EV very soon. Editor Richard Ingram went to get our first taste of Mercedes’ new flagship EV.
