I picked up a 2011 Civic Si that is all original, no accidents, and only 64k miles. In this video I'll talk about the car a bit and my plans for it in the near term future.

As time has gone on, I've developed a big appreciation for the 8th gen Civic Si (2006-2011). 8K redline, true VTEC (on the intake and exhaust), simplicity (no bluetooth or touchscreen head unit, no cameras or sensors, etc.), sporty, fuel efficient, and a style that has aged really well in my opinion. After daily driving my CTR LE for the last year, I decided I wanted to preserve the miles on that car and move into something I could supplement a lot of my driving with that still holds practicality while giving me the kind of fun I've had in the CTR. This Si doesn't really compare to my CTR LE, but they're both sporty Hondas that are just awesome, nicely engineered vehicles that are at the top of my list in terms of best Honda in the last couple of decades.

If you're in the market for this car, it can be a tough find. Many have 4-5+ owners, been in an accident, have been modified to hell, or have very high mileage. Maybe this Si won't be as sought after by enthusiast compared to vehicles like the 99 and 00 Civic Si, or the ITR, but I predict it will fall into a similar category. Clean 2006-2011 Si's are increasingly becoming harder to come by and that theme won't change as time continues to pass.
