This documentary honors the dark sky legacy of rural Oregon and celebrates darkness as an aspect of human heritage. It is intended to raise awareness about the incredible resource inherent in the dark sky. It is a call to action, challenging humanity to cooperate to preserve dark skies for generations to come.

Focusing on a unique event that inspired artists and scientists to gather in one of the darkest places on the continent, experts illuminate the darkness with poetry, paintings, pictures, history, biology, and astronomy.
