Terrence Malick has earned deserved praise for films like The Thin Red Line and Tree of Life, but his "lesser" works tend to exist in obscurity. To the Wonder is one of his least appreciated films, and for that reason I have chosen to give it a little bit of love.

Also don't ask me what the music is. For this essay I just used samples from the films themselves, since Malick gives plenty of nearly silent montages set to beautiful music. I have no idea what most of these pieces are called.
