A failed condensate pump for the air conditioning unit flooded this basement. At first it was very hard to tell where the flood originated as there were no obvious signs of leakage. We spent a considerable amount of time eliminating various causes of this water damage. After removing affected materials the cause was still not clear. Upon further investigation we determined that the air conditioners condensate pump had failed but only showed when the unit was running. Once discovered and tested it then became obvious.
We finished removing the damaged materials, HEPA vacuumed the area and set up drying equipment to complete the drying set up portion of this project.
