My brand new 2013 Cadillac ATS 2.0 Turbo Manual transmission has a major SAFETY FAULT! It turns itself off while I'm driving (1st or 2nd gear) or idling in neutral. The car is so quiet, and the turning off is without any warning, so I only find out it's off when I get no response when putting on the gas, or because I notice that my AC is off. In the first 2 weeks of having the car it shut off on me probably 10 times. I left it at my dealer 2 times within first 3 weeks of ownership, and since it doesn't happen when in their possession, they do nothing and basically say they don't believe me. Will they believe me when I get plowed into from behind from an unsuspecting driver, or when I'm turning left in an intersection and suddenly have no power in front of oncoming traffic???? The service writer at the dealer said thousands of cars have to have this same fault before the engineers at Cadillac will investigate. Wow, really?!? I am not waiting for thousands to suffer with me before I get a remedy. If you too have this issue, or know someone who does, and more importantly, if you have solved this issue, please let me know!!!
