King Charles could be about to bestow upon Princess Kate a very rare privilege that dates back to the 15th century – which very few members of the Royal Family possess.

In order to mark her 42nd birthday on January 9, the “billion-pound gift” from King Charles could see the Princess of Wales become even more influential.

It has been reported in news.com.au, that contrary to the King’s usual tendency to gift jewellery, Princess Kate could be given the power to issue Royal Warrants.

Royal Warrants are official endorsements and a mark that only certain members of the Royal Family can bestow on their chosen brands and suppliers.
