Even with all of the beloved films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there are still a few Marvel movies that never made it to the big screen that fans would have liked to see.

In many cases, A-list directors and actors were planning to star in big-budget adaptations of the comics, with some pretty unique and interesting concepts to boot.

Both Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy and the Amazing Spider-Man duology could have received another film, and even James Cameron wanted to make a movie about the web-slinger at one point. Let’s take a look at some canceled Marvel movies we’ll never get to see.
