I didn't really love the episode because I was very confused by the choices the writers made. Having the sin be only related to the ghost and not the curse does not make sense to me and I am kind of afraid that one episode isn't enough to wrap everything up. However, I did understand Nancy in this episode. Seeing someone experience the same amount of tragedy as she has, choosing to shield them from it, and carrying that pain for them makes sense for who she is. Of course, it wasn't her choice to make, but I understand why she did it.

I decided for this video to focus on Nancy bearing a lot of the pain to protect Ace (hiding the curse, deciding to work with the Hudsons, etc.). Not telling him why she did it, leaving that Unspoken, which ultimately means losing him. I drew a parallel between that and her not being afraid anymore, being ready to break the curse, to feel those feelings whilst Ace is still terrified. He was terrified of finding out what happened with Alice, but in a larger sense he's terrified of what he still feels for Nancy and hiding behind his relationship with Alice/a literal ghost is a way of avoiding that. I hope that makes sense!
