I think calling 'White Raven' a horror movie does it a disservice (though if you squint you might be able to reason it into that space, as I attempt to do in my video).

It's more a drama with horror overtones and lacks the atmosphere and overt menace that I think is important for horror films.

What it is is more akin to a (much) less extreme version of John Boorman's 'Deliverance' (1972).

And that's okay.
