We recently visited the Museum of the American Railroad in Frisco, TX to check out some of the updates they had reported. A link to the museum is in the comments. Please remember to subscribe to our channel!

Since we visited last year, the museum added new track, opened additional lengths of track to the public and also have added some concrete platforms between the tracks. During this visit, they were getting ready to pour concrete for some of the platform work. In addition to this, the museum also built a workshop where they are currently repainting a Santa Fe F series locomotive with the renowned war bonnet paint scheme.

The are most well known for having Big Boy#4018, but they have quite an assortment of old locomotives and rolling stock. Future plans include adding a roof over the tracks and restoration of engines and rolling stock as funds permit, of course. The Pullman dining car has been made over and is currently used to host dinners for fundraisers. There is also a small G gauge layout inside the building, and an O gauge section that is currently under construction.
