Ninebot Max (G30) is one of the most popular electric scooters right now, mostly because of the promised 40-mile range and relatively reasonable price.

Initially launched on Indiegogo, there are a number of events surrounding the Max that are quite worrying and had to be mentioned. On the other side - I will tell you the story how thanks to some lucky coincidences I ended up with free Ninebot Max :D (spoiler alert - not a gift, and not "working" anymore);
