Our Partner, Chef Merlyn of Merlyn’s Catering, hosted his final Titanic Anniversary Dinner on April 12th and 13th at The Valley Venue and Summit Room.

Sarah Marcotte, Executive Director of La Grande Main Street Downtown and her devoted spouse joined the voyage, where they dressed in period costume, each assuming the identity of an actual passenger to travel back in time and learn the passenger’s fate.

Historian John Lamoreau captivated with tales of survival and struggle, and presented artifacts from the ship and vintage media.

Chef Merlyn pulled out all of the stops replicating the final First Class menu in 10 delightful courses, including 14 authentic menu preparations accompanied by six wines in the style served at this luxurious dinner.
